Pricing and Options for the 2009 Tundra

2009 Toyota Tundra Prices Announced

With 2009 at our doorstep it’s time to look at pricing for new Toyota Tundras. Just announced by the manufacturer, it looks as though prices will increase by an average of $104.

The suggested retail price for the 2009 full-size, regular cab, V6 Tundra will start at $22,490 while the Limited Grade, 4×4 CrewMax, V8 will begin at $41,605.

Tundra Racing Development Packages

We’ve already written about Toyota’s 2009 Racing Development packages for the Tundra, but now we have prices for you too.

The TRD Sport is designed for in-town drivers and will be available for the 4×2 regular and double cab, standard bed models. These models need to have the 5.7 liter V8. The going rate for the package will be either $2,408 or $3,814 depending on the cab size.

Similar to the 2008 package, expect body-colored bumpers, heated side mirrors, fog lamps, side graphics, 20 inch, five-spoke alloy wheels, black cloth interior, custom shift knob, and pedal covers.

Daniel – Many dealers have 09’s in-bound or in stock right now.

Utah – Nothing significant that we’re aware of, but it will depend on what part of the country you reside in.

What does the area of the US have to do with the type of truck? Just curious because I didn’t know there was any difference in available stock besides having more 4X4 in mountain states or heated options in colder climates.

Heidi – No idea. You can always call or email – Yahoo Autos and Edmunds.com both have good online tools for requesting quotes on 2009 trucks.

i was promised my 09 tundra 2 days ago they say its in there stock but has not arrived.i call toyota and they say there still in production what the hell is the true story.

Ronald – Your dealership has the answer, but here’s how it works. Toyota builds the truck, ships it via rail to a regional assembly area. It’s then loaded onto a semi trailer and trucked to your dealership. If the rail yard is behind (and they could be this close to the holidays), your truck will be delayed. Your truck will also be delayed if the dealership doesn’t have a full truckload at the rail head. Depending on where you live, your dealer might be able to drive up and get your truck for you assuming it’s just sitting at the rail head waiting to be loaded on a truck. The 2009 is available right now.

thanks for the info they said yesterday it was in s statis.what that means i have no idea.they still sail they had no answer.i also called the headquarters and they could not comment as well.hope its not long.
