I just found out a really neat feature for 2010 is the option on the tundra grade double cab for 425 msrp price of a power button that slides the middle rear window slider over all at the touch of a button. Cool feature! I also found out today that the tundra grade is being made more to individual options instead of a group pkg. deal like toyota exclusively did on the 2007 tundras. One large dealer 2 hours from my house who has several 2010's in stock in double cabs told me to come in and if nothing is exact as to how I like it, that they would change the allocation of tundra orders to be built for their dealer to accomodate my needs. That is the first I ever heard of a toyota dealer trying to make my tundra built to order, so to speak. Great news! If it wasn't for the 2 hour drive, I'd be there tomorrow. Going to have to plan a whole day just to talk B.S. for an hour or so, another 30 minutes to test drive the new 4.6L V8, and price one out and see bottom line what I can get it at, but dealer said they would make it worth my 4 hours of driving time but I think all of them say that just to get you in to their showroom. I'm not as dumb as I look.

Tmac - It's the name for engines that can run on either regular old gasoline or a mixture of gasoline and ethanol known as "E85". E85 is 85% ethanol, which is very inexpensive in SOME parts of the USA. In other parts, not so much. SO, Toyota offers the flex-fuel Tundra in some areas and doesn't offer it in others, depending upon how popular E85 is locally.

Bac - That's correct - the 5.7 has been available in a flex fuel configuration since 2008. However, it's VERY hard to come by in certain areas.

Good to hear and now it's time to go see the Platinum. If it's worth it then maybe a trade-in will do.
