The 2010 two wheel drive Tundra has a big problem shifting gears when you turn corners. It is searching and when you give it gas the transmission slams in and all the power hits the rear wheels. This is a very hazardous problem as you can loose control of the pickup on wet or icy conditions.

Same here TXTee…. Looking forward in staying with I think is the best Tundra website. Williamo why are we giving the truck gas in a corner when it’s icy or wet? You should be letting it idle through.

Williamo, Scott and South Carolina where commenting on something in reference to that on the “2010 Tundra Quieter, less fuel post”. Its a good thing Jason’ Mickey and Txtee are here they are really helpful. They must be here to defend not to help other owners. Way to go! For the second time in case you missed it “it is searching and when you give it gas the transmission slames” that would be abnormal!!!

Lets try using traditional english syntax through out the entire post Josh. That was why Jason made the first comment when you posted. You sounded like a reply generator from a crunchry thrat spreake brad engrish and I speak enough bad english to cover everyones quota for this site.

And to reply to Wills question: That is odd. this is the first and only time I head of it doing that. They tend to surge from the gear holding but slamming is a new one. Take it into the dealer and get with them. Make sure the Tow haul and VSC lights are off. If vsc is off it will want to jump on you from the MASSIVE power under the hood.

Funny it is not the first time someone has spoke of this issue. Jeremy is just here to defend the massive power of the Tundra, not to help anyone. It started in the post titled “2010 Tundra- Quieter, Less Fuel” when Scott and South Carolina spoke of it. Good job, Jeremy! Happy Holidays.

Again, I gave the only help that was offered. But why help when you just come in here and cry about how Toyota is evil and makes crap yet the build quality is still ahead of what everyone else is doing. You lose, over and over again. Will needs to take the truck to the dealer and have it looked at.

Help, someone had to explain it to you. Had to draw you a picture with crayons. So how did it go again Jeremy? You had a GM truck and the shock mounts rusted off. Who worked together at NUMMI? Didn’t you say it was a effort by GM and Toyota to produce quality vehicles, something to that effect. What is produced at NUMMI by Toyota and GM, the Tacoma. What is a issue with Tacoma’s, frame rust. Coincidence that you had frame rust issue with a GM, GM and Toyota worked hand in hand in NUMMI and produced the Tacoma with a frame issue. Why did GM leave NUMMI? Toyota was bring down GM’s quality. So Jeremy I feel like a broken record but didn’t we have this conversation before and you where back pedaling? For some reason Toyota owners like to make jokes and comments of other brands, like the Dodge april fools. But can not handle it when someone calls them out. What comes around goes around.

Joshua the post stated he gave the truck gas in a corner where it was wet and icy. Safety would tell you in a turn you wouldn’t press the accelerator when you hit water or ice if it’s icy conditions. Joshua you can be pissed off all you want I could care less. You apparently have a chip to grind and you’re here grinding away. You read what you want and only apply what curtails to your whinnings.
