Spyder Industries has created a new “Black Venom” Bull Bar to protect your ride, create a unique diamond-shape adjustable bar look and certainly grab some attention when showing off your ride.

Black Venom Bull Bars from Spyder Industries - An Overview

The adjustable Black Venom Bull Bar has almost a factory like look to it.

According to Spyder Industries:

“Black Venom” Bull Bar “adds extra front-end protection to your truck and includes mounts ready to receive up to 4 off-road lamps. The Black Venom Bull Bar is manufactured from 2.5″ square, heavy gauge steel tubing and feature a ‘diamond’ cut design found nowhere else for maximum strength. Our Bull Bars are powder coated “Stealth Black” (semi-gloss, fine texture) to blend with the black plastics typically found on trucks and tailored to bolt to the frame of specific truck models.”

The Bull Bar can be adjusted up to 5″ to create the right look or for clearance needs. Prices range from $659.95 for the Black Venom and $709.95 for the Special Edition (silver coat finish).

The Black Venom Bull Bars are adjustable up to 5" to allow for creating a more unique look and more additional clearance.

Spyder states that the the product is relatively new and that they are currently developing a full range of models to fit different trucks and SUVs. They do offer most of the major brands.

The unique diamond shape is considered to be more resistant to denting than the square shape, perhaps reducing the likelihood that the bull bar will get dented when the truck is parked on the street. Although, steel tubing is steel tubing, and it’s hard to dent no matter the shape. It does though, create a unique look for the Tundra.

I saw this a couple months ago, so I fabbed up my own for my Tundra (because I’m too cheap to buy one.) The only difference is that I changed the design slightly to look a little more “Mad Max” – all told, all it cost me was around $50 worth of material and about 12 hours of my time.

I like the design, but the price is ridiculous!

  3. Mickey says:

Agree Mendonsy. The price is near ludicrous speed.
